Conference Call: Things Your Clients Need to Know in Order to Make Your Life Easier
In this session, I wanted to give you the ammunition that forces your client to make a decision. I told you the things I would say to your clients if I could get in front of them. Many of these things you may feel uncomfortable saying to them, but they must hear these things nonetheless. If you don't feel comfortable saying them exactly as I did, you need to develop your language based on your own communication style.
They need to know the upside, the downside and the tough side of putting money at risk. There may be things I covered that they don't necessarily want to hear, but they've got to hear them.
If clients don't take care of themselves financially, they are going to absolutely suffer the consequences. It's not fun to play the bad cop, but your prospects and clients need to know the simple facts of investing life: Things like the biggest investment mistake of all is not starting. Things like the biggest fee they will ever pay is poor performance. Things like you must take risk in order to meet your goals. Things like in 180 months, a three-year-old will be in college.
This call was not a gloom and doom session by any means. Rather, it was a session steeped in reality. I hope you walked away full of confidence and full of conviction.
