Sales Idea: Gumption
What Is Gumption?
”Anyone who has gumption knows what it is, and anyone who hasn't can never know what it is. So there is no need of defining it.“ L. M. Montgomery
Merriam-Webster defines gumption as common sense, horse sense, enterprise or initiative.
Since we now know that common sense died in America some years ago, it stands to reason that anyone with an abundance of common sense is going to be different than most of the people in this business. After all, similarities do not sell—differences sell.
Your Ideal Prospects Have Gumption.
As you well know, the money in this country is in the hands of people over age of 55, and people over age of 55 traffic in common sense. So, if you want to get through to the people who have all the money, you had better bone up on common sense.
Let's talk common sense.
I know some folks whose cups runneth over with common sense. And they are great at getting through to people with a plethora of common sense.
