Things just keep getting better at Camp Connelly
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009Do you remember Woody Allen standing in line at the movies and arguing with the man behind him about Marshall McLuhan? That was in Annie Hall. Woody told the guy he knew nothing about Marshall McLuhan and the guy pompously stated that, in fact, he taught a class at Columbia University entitled “TV, Media and Culture” and his insights about Marshall McLuhan contained a great deal of validity. Woody settled the argument by going behind a wall and retrieving Marshall McLuhan, who told the professor that he was completely wrong and shouldn’t be teaching at Columbia. Woody Allen turned to the camera and said, “Boy, if life were only this easy.”
Suppose you could do that? Suppose you had an expert at your disposal? What if you had a question about estate planning, taxes or investments and you could turn to someone who taught at the MBA level at one of the country’s leading universities? Further suppose that this person at your disposal is a Certified Public Accountant and a Cum Laude law school graduate with a Master of Laws in Taxation. Let’s also say that your expert has taught executive education programs in the United States, United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey, Hungary, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Brazil, Uruguay, Columbia, Austria, and Canada. Let’s even say he has been published regularly and is a regular on TV and radio? For all our Australian subscribers, let’s say our guy developed and led a program with the Australian Graduate School of Management on Entrepreneurship that was an open enrollment program with companies such as American Express, Coca-Cola and Qantas.
How would your practice be then? Would you be a better Financial Advisor? Would you be better equipped to compete in the affluent investor market? You are darned right you would.
Well, that person exists, his name is Chris Hennessey and he is now associated with Camp Connelly. You may very well have heard Chris speak live and you certainly have listened to Chris’s July 1, 2007 ‘Ask Don’ interview.
We at Camp Connelly could not feel prouder or luckier that Chris has chosen to become a part of Camp Connelly. I know you feel the same way.
Go to the Forum and click on Estate Planning/Taxes. Check out Chris’s article entitled “Net Unrealized Appreciation.” Then talk to Chris and amongst yourselves in the forum.
Also, if you like the article and want to see more material from Chris, send me an e-mail and let me know.
For the record, Chris encourages any questions you have on the pillars of wealth management – estate planning, tax planning, college planning, retirement planning, investment planning, and risk management including asset protection.
Here is your chance to go one-on-one with an expert in your field. Please don’t let this opportunity pass you by.
